Refund Policy — Patricia's Copper
Here you will find all information regarding your right to return, exchange and make a claim on any product purchased from Patricia's Copper.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, in accordance with applicable distance selling regulations. We choose to extend this and offer you a 30-day open purchase period from the date you receive your order.
This means you have the right to cancel your purchase by notifying us within 30 days of receiving your item.
If the product is in a deteriorated condition upon return, we reserve the right to make a deduction from your refund corresponding to the reduced value of the product, where such reduction is due to handling beyond what is necessary to determine the nature and function of the item.
When exercising your right of withdrawal, return shipping costs are your responsibility. As you are responsible for the product until we have received it, please ensure it is carefully and securely packaged.
Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to products that have been custom made or personalised specifically for you — for example a piece engraved with your name or made to a specific personal design.
REFUNDS
In the unlikely event that your product is faulty or defective, you may return it to us for a refund or exchange within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping costs are not covered in this case.
Once we have received and approved your return, your refund will be issued to the same payment method used at the time of purchase within 14 days of us receiving the returned item in satisfactory condition.
When your return has been received and inspected, we will send you an email confirming receipt and notifying you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and credited to your original payment method.
Returns received more than 30 days after the delivery date will not be accepted.
HOW TO MAKE A RETURN
Returning an item is straightforward. Here is how:
- Contact us by emailing support@patriciasjewelry.com with your name, email address and order number.
- We will send you a return form by email.
- Once your completed return form has been approved, we will instruct you where to send your item.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.
- We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item if sent without tracking.
- Please ensure the item is unused and in its original packaging before sending.
UNCOLLECTED PACKAGES
Your package will be held at your local collection point for 7 days. If it is not collected within this time it will be returned to us.
Uncollected packages returned to us will be subject to an administration and handling fee of $15 USD. This fee covers the cost of outbound shipping, return shipping and handling.
If you have changed your mind after your package has been dispatched, please collect it from your collection point and return it to us directly. If it is returned to us as uncollected, the fee will be applied automatically.
If you would still like the item after an uncollected return, simply place a new order as normal.
Patricia's Copper is not responsible for packages that were not collected due to missed delivery notifications or personal circumstances.
EXCHANGES
We replace items only if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you need to exchange a defective item for the same product, please contact us at support@patriciasjewelry.com with your order number and photos of the damage.
PARTIAL REFUNDS
Orders that are not in their original condition, are damaged, or are missing parts for reasons not due to our error may be subject to a partial refund or refusal of return. We will notify you by email following inspection of the returned item.
DELAYED OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you have not yet received your refund, please follow these steps before contacting us:
— Check your bank account again — Contact your credit card provider — it may take a few days for the refund to be officially posted — Contact your bank directly, as there is often a processing period before a refund appears
If you have completed all of the above and still have not received your refund, please contact us at support@patriciasjewelry.com and we will resolve it for you.
COMPLAINTS & FAULTY ITEMS
If your product arrives broken or defective, you have the right to make a formal complaint. Please begin by taking clear photographs of the damaged item. We will need these photos along with your order number to begin the process.
Please do not return the item until we have reviewed your photos and instructed you to do so. Once we have received and inspected the item, we will assess the cause of the damage and determine whether it is covered under our complaint policy. If approved, we will offer a repair, replacement or compensation.
Complaints are valid only for manufacturing defects. This does not cover lost items, normal wear and tear, or damage caused by improper handling or care.
We carefully inspect every product before packing and shipping it to you. Despite this, damage can occasionally occur during transit. If your product arrives damaged, please report it to us immediately upon receipt.
Please report any defect within a reasonable time of discovering it. Reporting within two months of discovery is always considered within reasonable time. You have a 3-year right to make a complaint from the date of purchase.
For approved complaints, we will cover the cost of return shipping.
To begin a complaint, please contact us at support@patriciasjewelry.com with your order number and photos of the item. We will determine whether the issue should be repaired or replaced. If you are unsatisfied with how your complaint has been handled, you have the right to escalate the matter to your local consumer disputes authority.
