Bring copper into the routine you already love.

Patricia’s Copper Water Wand is a compact, reusable copper insert that rests in plain drinking water, allowing direct contact with copper. Remove it before drinking and use it again.

We introduced it for those who enjoy the tradition of copper vessels but prefer the glass or bottle they already own. A simple addition, without replacing your favorite drinkware.

  • Material: 99.9% pure copper
  • Includes: 2 copper wands per pack
  • Design: Compact, removable and reusable
  • Use: Plain drinking water only; follow the supplied instructions

Pure copper isn't magnetic. Most of the copper sold online is either plated (a thin copper coating over a cheaper metal like steel or brass) or alloyed with enough iron or nickel to make it feel magnetic — that's the quickest way to spot a fake.

The test is simple:

  1. Grab any fridge magnet
  2. Hold it against your copper product
  3. If it sticks — even slightly — it isn't pure copper
  4. If it doesn't stick, you're holding the real thing

Every piece I make is 99.9% pure copper — never plated, never alloyed with cheap metals. Run the test on yours the day it arrives. If it ever fails, I'll refund you immediately.

4 Reasons to Add Copper to the Water You Already Drink

Copper water wand dropping into a glass water bottle

Solid copper water wand next to a fridge magnet

99.9% Solid Copper

Not plated, and not a copper-coloured coating over steel. Solid copper all the way through. Hold a magnet to it and nothing happens.

A Tradition, Made Portable

For generations, people kept drinking water in copper vessels. Lab research has found copper can reduce some bacteria under specific conditions, which helps explain why the practice has lasted. The wand brings it to any glass.

Keep Your Favorite Bottle. Bring Copper Into Your Routine.

You already have a glass you reach for. A bottle you take everywhere. A routine that works.

Now there’s a simple way to introduce copper without replacing any of them.

Patricia’s Copper Water Wand is a compact piece of 99.9% pure copper designed to rest in plain drinking water, then be removed before you drink.

WHY PUT COPPER IN WATER?

For generations, people have stored drinking water in copper vessels. Lab research has found copper reduce bacteries, which helps explain why the tradition has lasted.

The wand brings that copper contact into a smaller, easier, removable form. No new vessel to carry, and no need to leave your favorite bottle behind.

Your glass. Your bottle. A copper ritual that fits.

Don't just take our word for it

Mine arrived today!

Mine arrived today! Took a quick picture before putting everything away. The box is lovely, and I hadn’t realized there were two in the set.

Fits right into my workday

I already keep a water glass beside my keyboard, so this fits right into my workday. Glad I don’t have to find room for another bottle on this desk.

Kept my favorite bottle

Bought it because I wanted to try copper without giving up my usual water bottle. Here it is on the balcony while I’m having a quiet afternoon. Simple little thing, which I like.

Small, with a substantial feel

Quick photo to show the size. Smaller than I expected, but feels substantial in your hand. The little rings at each end are a nice detail.

A familiar tradition

My mother used copper vessels, so I’ve been curious about these. Started with a plain glass at home. I appreciate being able to take it out and clean it separately.

One for me, one for my sister

Both fit in my palm. Posting this because I couldn’t judge the size from the product pictures. Keeping one here and giving the other to my sister.

Came along for the afternoon

Brought mine along for an afternoon reading outside. I’m attached to this old bottle, so being able to use it with something I already own was the selling point for me.

An easy place to start

I’ve been interested in the tradition of copper water for a while. Didn’t particularly want a whole copper bottle, though. This felt like an easy place to start.

Nancy Brooks

Asked for the spare 😂

My wife ordered the set. I teased her about buying another wellness thing, then asked if I could have the spare 😂 Nice finish on them.

I prefer mine in a wide glass

Lovely little product. Just remember to check that you can get it back out of whichever bottle you use! I prefer mine in a wide glass.

About me

Every piece I've ever made started with the same intention — to be worn by someone whose body needs it.

Copper has been pressed against human skin for thousands of years. For joints that ache. For circulation that needs support. For the kind of quiet, everyday ease that modern life keeps taking away.

I've spent 40 years making these pieces by hand in Sedona. Watching people come back year after year. They never had to explain why. I already knew.

This year, I'm closing the workshop.

My grandchildren are growing up — and I've missed enough already. For the first time in 40 years, something matters more than the work. Not because the work stopped meaning something. Because they mean more.

Every piece in this final collection was made by my hands, one at a time. There are only so many. Once they're gone, I won't be making more.

This is the last of it. I'm glad it found you.

Frequently asked questions

  1. Place: Add the Wand to a glass or bottle of plain, room-temp or cold drinking water.
  2. Infuse: Let it rest for at least 4 hours (many leave it overnight for an upgraded morning hydration routine).
  3. Remove: Take the Wand out of your vessel.
  4. Enjoy: Drink your freshly infused water.

Note: Use with plain drinking water only. Do not use with hot liquids or acidic citrus.

The Copper Water Wand is designed Intentional use

Keep out of reach of children.

Traditional copper bottles create continuous contact between water and metal for as long as the water remains inside the container.

Over extended periods, this ongoing contact can produce a stronger metallic taste or noticeable copper aroma, often described as a “penny” flavor.

The Copper Water Wand is removable. You decide when contact begins. You decide when it ends.

This gives you control over exposure time while allowing you to use the glass or reusable bottle you already own. It is intentional copper contact, not constant immersion.

Copper bottles and cups can ONLY be used with room-temperature or cold water. Most other bottles handle a wider range of beverages. With the wand, you can use your existing bottle or glass - no need to manage multiple bottles.

I've been asked this for 40 years. Here's what I know:

Copper is an essential mineral the human body genuinely needs, and wearing it against the skin is a practice that predates modern medicine by thousands of years.

I've never made promises to anyone. What I can tell you is that people who come to me with stiff joints, aching wrists, and tired hands keep coming back — year after year, decade after decade — without me ever having to explain why.

Whether you call that placebo or not, the people wearing my copper stopped noticing what they used to notice. That's all I've ever needed to know.

Most copper vessels are fixed containers. Once water is inside, contact continues automatically.

We designed the Copper Water Wand to introduce choice.

Its removable form allows you to determine duration based on preference. This design supports flexibility rather than permanence.

The difference is structural, not cosmetic.

Yes. The wand can remain in water overnight if that fits your routine. Because it is removable, you determine how long it rests in the water.

The Copper Water Wand is designed to provide a subtle and neutral experience. Its solid rod form presents less exposed surface area than a full copper bottle or glass, resulting in a gentler interaction.

Even with longer contact periods, the flavor remains clean and balanced, without the sharp metallic aroma often associated with traditional copper vessels. You always control the duration of contact.
